3. Past Professional Positions
Dr Kriengsak Chareonwongsak spent the first 20 years of his career as an academic combined with various appointed positions as advisor to various Prime Ministers ,Deputy Prime Minister, various Ministers and President of Thailandrsquo;s National Parliament and National Assembly, but in 2001, with his election to the National Economic and Social Advisory Council (NESAC), one of Thailandrsquo;s most influential constitutional autonomous bodies, began to transition into a more strictly exclusive focus on public role. This transition was formalized with his election as a Member of Parliament in Feb 2005 and elected to be a key senior leader and on the executive board of the oldest and most established political party in Thailand.
